Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
I
am greatly honored in announcing the decision our Bishop Thirumeni the Rt.
Rev. Thomas Samuel had taken in response to our request on May 6th
2004 in appointing the UCMC Vice-President for the year 2004-2005.
It is hereby declared that the
President of the UCMC and the Bishop of the Madhya Kerala Diocese Rt. Rev.
Thomas Samuel has appointed Rev. Cherian Thomas, Vicar of the CSI
Malayalam Congregation of Greater New York, as the Vice-President of
the UCMC for the year 2004-2005. A meeting of the general body is planned
for May 31st 2004 via conference call, and the decision to
conduct the election of the office bears on that day for 2004-2005 will be
taken during the meeting.
May I request all of you to work
together with Rev. Cherian Thomas Achen and strengthen the UCMC in the
coming years.
