Dear Achens/Secretary/Church Committee and members,
Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
I have great pleasure in writing to you this letter as we are still celebrating the great success of our magnificent gathering in Philadelphia and hope you all enjoyed our website and Asia Net coverage on the festival. I certainly know that you all will participate fully in all the upcoming UCMC programs like the combined carol service by the Jubilee Memorial on December 27th 2003 and the 18th CSI Family and Youth Conference in July 2004 by the CSI Congregation of Dallas.
This time I would like to bring your attention to the Youth Movement of the UCMC. As we have all along announced from the very beginning that the much anticipated Youth fellowship movement and its programs have been kicked on. With the blessing of our Bishop of the Madhya Kerala Diocese Rt. Rev. Thomas Samuel, the Executive Committee of the UCMC that met on 17th November 2003 unanimously appointed Rev. Alex P Oommen, vicar of the CSI Congregation of Dallas as the Youth Champlain for UCMC. Rev. Alex P Oommen is very soon expected to call a meeting of the Youth representatives from our congregations to strengthen the UCMC activities and bring the unity and fellowship on a national level. Let us keep UCMC and Rev. Alex P Oommen in our prayers and ask God His providence in this endeavor.
